1. 1984-1988 Porsche 944. The 1985 1/2 - 1988 models have the updated interior. These front-engine beauties have an actual Porsche engine in them, making them somewhat pricey to repair, but all the more awesome to own.

2. 1992-1997 Mazda Miata. used to own a '97, and enjoyed it very much. The simple drop top, the nimble way the car would weave in and out of traffic. However, the car might be a bit too girly, not quite the aggressive sports car I desire.

3. Nissan's 240 Sx (Hatchback) and 300 zx both sit as great options. a 240, loved the 300z. A newer (1992-1995) 240sx, or an older (1989-1992) 300z. "

Mazda seems good.


WRX all the way, all wheel drive, with a turbo to get sporty, fun in the winter time as well as the summer time.


1st is Porsche , its quite a fun car. 2nd, consider gen mr2, pretty nice fun little car. 3rd is a Z from nissan, try finding a 300zx.


"Consider a Miata and an E30 for sporty cars. B3 Passat GT's, they are cheap, even get two for 5K They're easy to mod and they handle great. Its the best handling car he's ever driven. And they're light. Not Miata light, but they weight around 1100Kg (~2400lbs).
For winter is anywhere seriously wouldn't want RWD.

The 2.0L 16v unit is great for modding, you can send it to 400hp for about $2K"


Miata is a great sportscar. It's bulletproof reliability and ease of handling coupled with low weight.

Miata's gunna get you there new. Even then it'll be over.


A sweet condition used Porsche 944, plenty for under 15,000.


Considering Porsche 944 or Triumph TR6 can both be had for well under 15k.
