1. 1984-1988 Porsche 944. The 1985 1/2 - 1988 models have the updated interior. These front-engine beauties have an actual Porsche engine in them, making them somewhat pricey to repair, but all the more awesome to own.
2. 1992-1997 Mazda Miata. used to own a '97, and enjoyed it very much. The simple drop top, the nimble way the car would weave in and out of traffic. However, the car might be a bit too girly, not quite the aggressive sports car I desire.
3. Nissan's 240 Sx (Hatchback) and 300 zx both sit as great options. a 240, loved the 300z. A newer (1992-1995) 240sx, or an older (1989-1992) 300z. "

Or indeed, a mustang or camaro.
Picking up a 3rd gen camaro or firebird/trans am would be possible. Not as sporty as any of the japanese or german cars, but can enjoy driving an f-body at the time."

For winter is anywhere seriously wouldn't want RWD.
The 2.0L 16v unit is great for modding, you can send it to 400hp for about $2K"

Ford Mustang Shelby GT
BMW Z4 M
Porsche Cayman S
Mercedes SLK 55 AMG
Tesla Roadster
Lotus Elise R"

I prefer the Mercedes..Its got the best performance, and it just looks better..The porsche is the best looking one, but it lacks performance.."

-German craftsmanship and quality
-Not the cheapest option but definately one of the smarter ones
-Smooth, ""engineered"" styling
-Good engine"

-Won't need to fill up as often...heck...you don't even need to fill up
-Amazing in almost every way
-Probably a good everyday cruiser since it's electric so it the engine must be smooth as your gf's legs and quiet as the local senior house
-Lotus Elise inspired styling, quite dynamic IMO"

-It's a Lotus...what can I say?
-Super fun
-Super lightweight
-Super cool
-Super cheap (it's a helluva good deal for such a car priced at less than $50,000 CDN)
-All the fun using only half the fuel
Elise...it's more exclusive and seems like the better choice for some fun."
